Salus Solutions respects the information people and organizations entrust to us. This notice explains how we handle information submitted through our website, Protection Advisor, and SalCAPA™ assessment services.

Information we receive

Protection Advisor Part 1 asks about your organization without requiring your name or email address. Our systems may still record technical information, such as an IP address, browser details, and security logs. Part 2 requires an account and may collect your name, contact details, organization, role, answers, and reports.

If you purchase or use an assessment, we may receive the organization and site details, answers, documents, communications, agreement acceptance, and transaction information needed to provide that service. When online checkout is available, Stripe processes the payment. Please provide personal or sensitive information in assessment materials only when Salus specifically requests it and you are authorized to share it.

How we use information

We use information to provide the Protection Advisor and authorized assessments; prepare findings and reports; manage accounts, agreements, payments, and support; protect our systems; maintain records; and meet legal obligations. We do not use an IP address as a Protection Advisor questionnaire answer or to determine a service band. We do not sell Protected Member submissions or Member-specific reports.

Who may receive information

Authorized Salus personnel and service providers may access information as needed to deliver and secure the service. These providers may support website operation, identity and account access, cloud hosting and storage, document handling, malware screening, communications, and payment processing. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect people, rights, or systems. A Protected Member’s materials are handled within its authorized engagement; they are not made available to other Members.

Files and security

Use only an authorized SalCAPA upload feature when it is available for your engagement. Do not send sensitive assessment files through the general website contact form or by ordinary email unless Salus has expressly arranged a suitable method. Salus uses access restrictions and other safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention

Under Salus’s approved policy, Protection Advisor information may be retained indefinitely. Part 1 includes a control for deleting its anonymous response record while that record is available in your browser session; operational security records may remain. Assessment, transaction, and support records are retained according to the applicable agreement, Salus records requirements, and any legal or security need. A deletion request may therefore not result in removal of every record.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you or to request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records where law, an agreement, or a legitimate security or audit need requires it. If we decline a request, you may ask us to review that decision by emailing Contact@Salus.Solutions with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.

Website technology

The website and its service providers may use cookies and technical logs to operate the site, remember settings, measure performance, and protect against misuse. Browser settings may let you limit some cookies, although doing so may affect site features.

Children’s information

Our services are intended for organizations and their authorized representatives. Do not submit a child’s personal information through the Protection Advisor or an assessment unless Salus has specifically requested it and you are authorized to provide it.
